Preservation Company

Preservation Company is a family-owned business located at 1214 Meridian Street North in Huntsville, Alabama, specializing in architectural antiques, custom furniture, vintage goods, and unique home decor. Founded in 2016 by homebuilder Jason Butler and his family, the company opened its flagship location on November 16, 2017, in the historic Lincoln Mill District of downtown Huntsville. The business offers a curated collection of reclaimed architectural pieces, specialty doors, locally crafted items, and gifts housed in a beautifully restored 1927 Lincoln Commissary building. Beyond retail, Preservation Company operates as an event venue with two spaces—the interior showroom and Mill House Social, an exterior space—making it available for special occasions and gatherings. The company won Downtown Huntsville’s “Project of the Year” award in January 2018 and actively supports the local creative community by featuring work from regional artisans. Hours of operation are Tuesday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
