Urban Eskimo is a specialty antique store located at 217 Seward Street in downtown Juneau, Alaska, owned by John Delgado. Founded in 2005, the business has established itself as a unique destination featuring a diverse selection of Alaska antiques, historic gold-rush era materials, regional art, books, and collectibles. The shop is particularly known for its extensive collection of Pendleton blankets, as well as Native Alaskan carved ivory pieces and hand-crafted baskets. Urban Eskimo operates seven days a week and occasionally handles estate sales and consignment items, serving both locals and tourists who visit this eclectic retail space housed in several rooms filled with carefully curated vintage merchandise.
