Chino Airport
About
Chino Airport (CNO) is a county-owned, public general aviation facility located three miles southeast of Chino in San Bernardino County, California. Originally established as the Cal-Aero Academy—the first civilian aviation school in the United States—it was leased by the U.S. Army Air Force during World War II before becoming Chino Airport in 1949. Today, it serves as the largest and busiest general aviation airport in San Bernardino County, hosting nearly 400 business tenants, two air museums including the Planes of Fame Air Museum, and supporting over 100,000 flight operations annually for independent pilots, flight students, trainers, and corporate users.
