Community Mercantile

Community Mercantile is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) reuse shop located at 622 Cantrill Drive in Davis, CA, dedicated to sustainability and keeping usable items out of landfills. The organization collects and sells a wide variety of merchandise including housewares, appliances, furniture, clothing, tools, and crafts, while also operating a tool lending library and offering educational workshops and classes on repair, reuse, and upcycling. Founded by Stephanie Koop and Larry Fisher, Community Mercantile serves the Davis community by promoting a circular economy through affordable secondhand shopping and skills-building initiatives focused on environmental stewardship.
