Second Tyme Around Shop

Second Tyme Around Shop is a nonprofit thrift store operated by the Assistance League of Downey, located at 11026 Downey Avenue in downtown Downey since 1966. The shop sells donated clothing, household goods, and vintage items, with all proceeds funding Assistance League programs that provide children in Downey with clothing, dental services, scholarships, and other essential services. Staffed primarily by volunteer members of the Assistance League year-round, the thrift shop serves as the chapter’s major continuous fundraising activity and vital source of annual operating support.
