Book Exchange

The Book Exchange is a used bookstore located at 332 North Main Street in downtown Manteca that has been serving the community for over 24 years, specializing in trading used books for store credit. Owned by Cheryl Lovering and her sister Janis Smith who opened the doors in 1993, the store features a well-organized collection of diverse genres with knowledgeable staff and carries curriculum books for local elementary and high school students. The Book Exchange also donates books to various charities, nonprofits, and animal rescues, making it an active participant in community literacy and welfare initiatives.
