The Wardrobe Project

The Wardrobe Project is a vintage and modern consignment shop located at 5461 College Ave in Oakland, California, specializing in pre-loved clothing and accessories for all genders and sizes at affordable prices. Founded by Jon Jon and Talia, who met in a Berkeley thrift store in 2018 and transitioned to full-time vintage reselling within a year, the shop opened its permanent location following initial pop-up experiences in San Francisco during early 2020 and later outdoor market participation. Beyond its retail operations, The Wardrobe Project serves as a collaborative effort between local designers, artists, and activists dedicated to creating a community-driven, circular fashion economy, and hosts a monthly vintage and makers market at the Rockridge BART Plaza featuring vintage clothing, accessories, furniture, home decor, jewelry, and support for local artists and community organizations.
