Goodwill Industries of South Central California is a nonprofit organization operating in Porterville, CA that has served the community since opening its first store in July 2011. The organization operates thrift stores where customers can purchase clothing, home décor, appliances, and other goods, while also providing job training and employment opportunities for local residents. In August 2024, Goodwill opened an expanded 15,000-square-foot facility at 1491 Olive Avenue featuring a donation drive-thru center, reflecting its commitment to sustainability by giving donated items a second life and keeping products out of landfills.
