Kind Threads

Kind Threads is a nonprofit thrift store in San Marcos, California owned and operated by Interfaith Community Services, North County’s largest social services organization. Located at 251 N City Dr near Cal State San Marcos, the store offers affordable, sustainable secondhand fashion and accessories, with all profits supporting Interfaith’s programs including permanent housing for people experiencing homelessness, workforce development, and food assistance. Since opening in November 2025, Kind Threads has engaged the community through Cal State San Marcos student partnerships and volunteers, creating a welcoming atmosphere that combines eco-friendly shopping with social impact.
