Union Rescue Mission Thrift Store, located at 23855 Hawthorne Boulevard in Torrance, is a nonprofit Christian organization operating one of three thrift store locations that generate revenue to support the Union Rescue Mission’s efforts to help homeless individuals, families, and seniors in Los Angeles. The store offers new and gently used clothing, shoes, accessories, home furnishings, and art, with 50% of merchandise sold below wholesale prices, and all profits support the mission’s programs and create job opportunities for program graduates. Founded in 1891, Union Rescue Mission is one of America’s largest missions dedicated to helping people experiencing homelessness achieve self-sufficiency and stability.
