Penny Lane Records, located at 235 E. 9th Street in Historic Downtown Upland, California, is an award-winning independent record store that has been operating since 1985. Once the largest independent record chain in Los Angeles with multiple locations throughout the region, Penny Lane is now a single mom-and-pop operation still run by its original owner and recognized as Independent Retailer of the Year by the National Association of Recording Merchandisers in 1996. The store specializes in high-quality used vinyl records, CDs, cassettes, DVDs, Blu-Rays, and music memorabilia, buying and selling collections while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for music enthusiasts and collectors.
