The Assistance League of Denver Thrift Shop is a nonprofit retail operation run by an all-volunteer, 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to serving the greater Denver community for over 66 years since its founding in 1953. Located at 6265 E Evans Avenue, Suite 8, the thrift shop operates Monday through Saturday from 10 AM to 4 PM and specializes in selling affordable clothing, home goods, books, and vintage items. The shop serves as the primary funding source for the Assistance League’s philanthropic programs, which include Operation School Bell, a Hospital Equipment Lending Program, Hospitality House, Assault Survivor Kits, Arts for Kids, and Serve Our Seniors. Recognized as one of Denver’s best thrift stores by both Westword and Out There Colorado, the shop combines community service with accessible retail, featuring expanded floor space and volunteer support to create a welcoming shopping environment for bargain hunters throughout the Denver metro area.
