Hole in the Wall

Hole in the Wall is Guilford’s oldest and only non-profit consignment and thrift shop, located at 35 Boston Street in the Boston Commons shopping center. Established in 1968 as a grassroots effort to support local charities, the shop has operated since 1973 exclusively to benefit the Guilford A Better Chance Program, which provides educational opportunities to academically talented young women of color. Operating seven days a week, Hole in the Wall accepts quality clothing, housewares, jewelry, shoes, books, and seasonal items through both consignment and donation, with all proceeds from donated goods supporting the Guilford ABC mission. The shop is staffed by dedicated volunteers and a supportive management team committed to providing friendly service and helping customers find quality items at excellent value.
