Softwear New Haven is a vintage clothing and accessories boutique located at 742 Chapel Street in downtown New Haven, Connecticut, specializing in high-quality curated vintage and archival fashion pieces. The shop was founded as a joint venture between Mettao Feliz, a longtime New Haven native and clothing curator with nearly a decade of experience in the resale market, and his business partner Kev, who brought expertise in thrifting and vintage piece sourcing. Since opening in 2024, Softwear has become an integral part of the New Haven community, hosting in-store events including live DJ performances and pop-up markets such as “Forgotten Flea,” a curated vintage marketplace that aims to provide local shoppers with access to streetwear, Y2K fashion, and other vintage selections at various price points.
