Antiques Marketplace is one of Connecticut’s oldest antiques mega-malls, located at 109 Main Street in Putnam and in operation since 1991. The establishment serves as an anchor business for downtown Putnam with over 20,000 square feet of exhibition space featuring 130 antique and collectibles dealers across 325 spaces. The marketplace offers a diverse selection spanning from 18th to 20th century items, including furniture, lighting, glassware, pottery, art, books, rugs, sports and military memorabilia, coins, and jewelry. Owner Jerry Cohen, who began collecting coins in 1961 and entered the antiques business full time in 1976, maintains a commitment to customer service by evaluating items at no charge and providing fair pricing.
