Safe Haven Thrift Shop of Southbury

Safe Haven Thrift Shop of Southbury is a nonprofit thrift store located at 88 Main Street South in Southbury, Connecticut, operated as a program of Safe Haven of Greater Waterbury. The shop offers a carefully curated selection of gently used housewares, clothing, furniture, antiques, and collectibles, with revenues supporting the organization’s mission to provide free and confidential services to survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. Established following the opening of Safe Haven’s Southbury office in January 2001, the thrift shop generates approximately 11% of the agency’s annual budget and is staffed primarily by volunteers ranging in age from 20 to 80 years old.
