Scranton’s Shops, located at 300 Route 169 in South Woodstock, Connecticut, is a premier antique, furniture, collectible, art, and craft shop housed in a charming early New England blacksmith building. Originally established as an antique shop in 1984 when renovated by Asa Robert Scranton IV, the business features over 3,800 square feet of retail space across seven rooms on two floors, representing more than 85 dealers offering a diverse selection of antiques, furniture, country and primitive items, pottery, collectibles, and gifts. Recognized as Connecticut’s Best Antique Shop in 2019 and 2020, Scranton’s Shops has served the South Woodstock community for over 30 years and is open Wednesday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The shop maintains a strong community presence and has become a destination for treasure hunters and antique enthusiasts throughout New England.
