Founded in February 2026, the collective is a collaborative venture of five independent vintage retailers—Asena Leyla Johnson (Private Collection Vintage), Ashasha Sumbatyan (Tea Life), Cesca Thorne (Albemarle Vintage), Emilie Razuri (Le Savoir Faire), and Sharon Jordan (Shay’s Retro Chic Boutique)—who pooled their resources to secure the storefront. The business specializes in secondhand clothing, accessories, and homeware, with a strong emphasis on inclusivity through extensive plus-size sections, men’s selections, and children’s items, while maintaining affordable price points. Golden Hour Collective honors the legacy of former owner Cathy Chung and continues her commitment to sustainable fashion and community engagement, operating as a shared space that welcomes other vendors and cultivates a welcoming atmosphere through amenities like complimentary tea service.
