How do I add my store to the directory?
Submit A Listing to add your store. You'll need to provide basic information about your shop including name, location, hours, and a brief description. Listings are reviewed before going live.
Is it free to list my store?
Yes, basic listings are completely free. We believe in supporting local vintage businesses and making it easy for customers to find you.
What's the catch?
No catch! It's free forever. We will offer premium features soon for a low monthly price, but we will never charge you for a basic listing.
If you're not charging anything, what's in it for you?
We like vintage stores, and we want to support small business.

How do I edit my listing?
Visit Manage Your Listing and enter the email address associated with your listing. We'll send you a secure link to access your dashboard where you can update your information.
How long does it take for my listing to appear?
Most listings are reviewed and approved within 24-48 hours. You'll receive an email notification once your listing is live.
Can I add photos to my listing?
Yes, free listings include one cover photo. Premium listings can add up to 10 photos displayed in a slideshow.
How do customers find my store?
Customers can browse by location, search by name, or explore stores in their area. Your listing appears in search results and on location-based pages. Premium listings get priority placement in search results.
What if my store information changes?
You can update your listing anytime through your dashboard. Changes are reviewed before going live, typically within 24-48 hours.
Can I temporarily hide my listing?
Yes, you can unpublish your listing from your dashboard if you need to temporarily close or take a break. Your listing data is preserved and you can request to republish when ready.
How do I delete my listing?
You can request deletion from your dashboard. For security, we'll send a confirmation email before permanently removing your listing.
What can I list under 'What you sell'?
You can add items like antiques, vintage clothing, furniture, collectibles, vinyl records, and more. Add all that apply to help customers find you.
What information is required to create a listing?
Store name, email, city, and state are required. Hours, phone, website, photos, and description are optional but help attract more customers.
How do I report incorrect information on a listing?
If you find outdated or incorrect info, contact us and we'll reach out to the store owner or update the listing.
Can I suggest a store to be added?
Yes! We welcome suggestions. The store owner will need to submit and verify their own listing, but we appreciate the tip.
How is my information used?
Your listing info is displayed publicly to help customers find you. Your email is kept private and only used for account access and important notifications.

What about Premium listings?
Premium listings get extra features including up to 10 photos in a slideshow, a stats dashboard with page views and click tracking, social media icons on your listing, priority placement in search results, a Featured Store badge, and a spot in our homepage showcase. Pricing is coming soon with both monthly and discounted annual options (12 months for the price of 10). Once Premium launches, you'll be able to upgrade directly from your listing dashboard. Sign up to be notified when Premium becomes available.
Who is behind Local Vintage Stores?

Local Vintage Stores was created by Andrew Miller, a web developer based in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
Andrew has been building websites since 1995 and founded 84EM, a WordPress development consultancy, in 2012.
He shares his home with his wife Rebecca, who runs The Trinket Farmer, a booth at Odd Mama's.
Their household includes six rescues: dogs Murphy, Lyla, and Gilda, and cats Lenny, Leona, and Willie.
