Global Gemology & Appraisals is an NAJA Accredited and AGA Certified Gemological Laboratory founded in 2017 in Deerfield Beach, Florida, operated by Scott Papper, a fourth-generation gem and jewelry professional. The dual-certified firm specializes in expert jewelry and gemstone valuation, appraisal reviews, expert witness services, and VIP appraisal services for private clients, attorneys, estate planning professionals, and insurance companies. In addition to serving private clients and industry professionals, Global Gemology & Appraisals has been subcontracted by federal law enforcement agencies including the U.S. Secret Service, IRS, Customs and Border Protection, ICE, and the U.S. Coast Guard to assist with the valuation of seized jewelry and watches.
