Estero Historical Society
About
The Estero Historical Society is a nonprofit organization dedicated to educating and inspiring the community by preserving and sharing the rich history of Estero, Florida. Located at 9285 Corkscrew Palms Boulevard inside Estero Community Park, the society operates two fully restored historic buildings—a 1904 one-room schoolhouse and a pioneer home—which serve as a museum and headquarters offering free docent-led tours to visitors. The organization, established in 1999, works to secure Estero’s historical legacy for future generations through public tours, educational programs, essay contests, and community partnerships with neighboring historical societies.
