Founded by George Brooks approximately 3.5 years ago during the COVID-19 pandemic as a passion project to rescue books destined for landfills, the store has become a community hub featuring affordable pricing, a 60-seat reading lounge, craft beers on tap, a coffee and tea bar, and a distinctive book-themed Christmas tree. The business actively supports the local community by hosting author events, craft fairs, and providing flexible space for community groups to gather.
