Second Life – Furniture, Decor & More store was a specialty retail location in Avondale Estates, Georgia, operated by Second Life, a charity organization dedicated to supporting animal welfare. The store, which opened in November 2013 at 89 North Clarendon Avenue, featured furniture, artwork, lamps, décor, vintage items, and collectibles in an intimate shopping setting. As part of the larger Second Life organization founded by a husband and wife team, the store’s proceeds from all sales benefited animal rescue groups and spay/neuter programs. Second Life is not itself a rescue organization but rather a charity that raises funds to support existing rescue efforts, having donated millions to animal welfare causes since its establishment. The Furniture, Decor & More location is currently indefinitely closed, though the main Second Life store continues operating in downtown Avondale Estates and serves as the primary retail location for the charity’s mission.
