Monroe Cotton Mills

Monroe Cotton Mills is a 250,000 square-foot mixed-use revitalized commercial facility located at 601 S Madison Avenue in Monroe, Georgia. Founded in 1895, the historic cotton mill actively manufactured textiles for over 90 years before closing. A local family purchased the shuttered mill from Avondale Mills in 2008 to preserve it from demolition, transforming it into a creative business and special events venue that now houses antique shops, galleries, and other retail enterprises.
