About
The Historic Train Depot in Newnan, Georgia, located at 60 East Broad Street, is a restored 1850s freight and passenger station for the Atlanta and West Point Railroad that was rehabilitated in the mid-1990s by the Newnan-Coweta Historical Society. Now operated as part of the Newnan-Coweta History Center, this historic venue features original exposed brick walls and wood rafters and serves as a versatile rental space for weddings, social events, meetings, and exhibitions. The depot’s significance is tied to Newnan’s Civil War history and continues to serve as a community landmark for gatherings of up to 200 people.
