Salvage Public is a Hawaiian sportswear brand founded in 2013 by Joseph Serrao, Noah Serrao, and Napali Souza that designs and produces menswear and apparel inspired by surfing culture and Hawaiian lifestyle. Based in Honolulu, the brand celebrates Hawaiian culture, history, and style through thoughtfully crafted clothing and accessories that reflect modern island living. The company operates multiple retail locations in Honolulu, including their flagship store at the base of Diamond Head in the Kapahulu neighborhood and a location at South Shore Market in Ward Village. Since its establishment, Salvage Public has expanded internationally with over 150 retailers across Japan, Los Angeles, New York, London, and Paris, and has collaborated with major brands including The Gap and Wrangler. The brand has been featured in publications such as The New York Times, Forbes, and T Magazine, and incorporates Hawaiian cultural elements including quilt patterns from Poakalani & Co., a quilting hui established in the 1970s.
