About
Thrift For A Purpose by LH2L is a nonprofit thrift store located at 4828 West Emerald Street in Boise, Idaho, founded by Mario and Natalie Hernandez, co-founders of Learning How 2 Live Inc. The organization serves Idaho’s community with a primary focus on supporting individuals re-entering society after incarceration by providing them with full wardrobes, hygiene kits, and peer mentoring to ease their transition. In addition to its core mission, the store partners with Purses With A Purpose to assist homeless teens in Ada and Canyon counties and offers free computers to homeless students from College of Western Idaho. The store is open Monday through Saturday from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM and Sunday from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, allowing community members to support the organization’s mission through both shopping and donations.
