Ward Hooper Vintage

Ward Hooper Vintage is a downtown Boise art gallery and vintage clothing store located at 745 W Idaho Street that was established in 2007. The business features original artwork and vintage merchandise, including vintage band t-shirts, sports jerseys, Pendleton shirts, and other collectibles, with a particular focus on menswear alongside a women’s section. Founded and owned by artist Ward Hooper, the store combines his vintage-inspired artwork with curated vintage clothing and antiques that reflect Idaho’s cultural identity. Beyond retail, Hooper is deeply involved in community arts projects, having created iconic bus-stop posters celebrating Boise’s neighborhoods, sculptures for the Basque Block, and public art installations that have become synonymous with Boise’s visual identity. The artist is also committed to mentoring young talent, regularly speaking at colleges about helping student artists build sustainable careers in the arts.
