The Vintage Bunkhouse

The Vintage Bunkhouse is a curated artisan home decor and antique shop located at 241 SW 3rd Street in downtown Fruitland, Idaho, specializing in vintage finds, upcycled and refurbished furniture, local artisanal goods, and handmade products. The business was established in 2021 by owner Kara Burke, a retired paramedic whose passion for restoration and craftsmanship led her to create the original shop in a restored 1908 farm bunkhouse before expanding to its current downtown location in 2022. The store carries an extensive inventory including antiques, painted furniture, locally sourced items, farm goods, jams, soaps, coffee, candles, clothing, and jewelry. Burke is committed to supporting the local community by featuring locally made products alongside her own creations, and the business participates in several regional events throughout the year, including vintage road trip shop hops and market days. The Vintage Bunkhouse was recognized as the Fruitland Chamber of Commerce’s 2022 New Business of the Year.
