SCARCE

SCARCE is an environmental nonprofit organization established in 1993, located at 800 S. Rohlwing Road in Addison, Illinois. The organization promotes conservation and environmental education through teacher workshops, community programs, and a resource center, while also operating a reuse center and SCARCE-LY USED Books and Records store where proceeds benefit environmental initiatives—having diverted millions of books and supplies from landfills while distributing over 8 million books to people in need.
