Founded in 1981, PACA Architectural Salvage Warehouse is a nonprofit dedicated to preserving the historic built environment of Champaign County and East Central Illinois. Located at 44 E Washington Street in Downtown Champaign, the warehouse operates over 5,000 square feet of space featuring salvaged architectural materials—including hardware, wood trim, lighting fixtures, stained glass, clawfoot tubs, and other distinctive features—removed from buildings slated for demolition or renovation. All revenue from sales supports PACA’s mission of architectural preservation and conservation, making it both a destination for homeowners and restoration enthusiasts and a vital community resource committed to sustainable practices and local heritage.
