El Anticuario

El Anticuario is an antique shop and vintage collective located at 1425 W. 18th Street in Chicago’s Pilsen neighborhood. Founded in 2021 by Francisco Orozco along with his wife Alex and daughter Gibby, the store features an eclectic assortment of vintage finds, antique collectibles, Latin American artifacts, books, and memorabilia spanning from classic Hollywood postcards to antique dolls. The business operates with a community-focused mission, serving homemade pastries on weekends and creating a gathering space where visitors from diverse backgrounds can connect over shared appreciation for unique, vintage treasures. Francisco Orozco began his passion for collecting antiques as a child in Mexico, and the shop reflects the family’s dedication to preserving memories and history while celebrating cultural heritage within the Pilsen community.
