Recycled Modern, LLC is an art gallery, interior design store, and event space located at 5231 South Harper Court in Chicago’s Hyde Park neighborhood, owned by Shari Currie. The women-owned business specializes in vintage furniture, upcycled and handcrafted home décor, and art while prioritizing Black Chicago artists, creatives, and craftsmen. Since opening its first location in 2018, Recycled Modern has expanded across Chicago neighborhoods and serves as a community hub that bridges established and emerging talent through curated products and cultural events.
