Gallery 1925 is an antique and art gallery located at 1925 Central Street in Evanston, Illinois, curated by Chicago-based interior designer Laura Soskin. The gallery features an extraordinary collection of one-of-a-kind antiques, original art, and home accessories sourced from antique markets across Europe, the East Coast, and the Chicago suburbs, ranging from prehistoric arrowheads to contemporary paintings by local artists. Since opening in November 2021, Soskin has shared her personal collection—which she had been providing to North Shore clients for over 20 years—with the broader community, creating a welcoming space filled with carefully selected pieces chosen for their age, patina, and historical significance.
