Sparrow’s Nest Thrift Store and Donation Center

Sparrow’s Nest Thrift Store and Donation Center, located at 357 Townline Road in Mundelein, IL, is part of Home of the Sparrow, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to reducing homelessness among women, children, families, and individuals through transitional housing and support services. The store sells gently used donations including clothing, furniture, housewares, and various merchandise, with all net proceeds supporting Home of the Sparrow’s programs that provide hope, opportunity, and support to those experiencing homelessness. As one of six Sparrow’s Nest locations across Northern Illinois, the Mundelein store also provides free clothing, furniture, and housewares to Home of the Sparrow clients and partner agencies, while accepting volunteer support and donations from the community.
