Purdue University Surplus Store

The Purdue University Surplus Store, located at 700 Ahlers Drive in West Lafayette, Indiana, has been operating since the mid-1960s as a university-run resale outlet. The store sells surplus and decommissioned university property including furniture, electronics, bikes, and lab equipment to the public and campus community on a first-come, first-served basis. Operated by Purdue University’s Materials Management and Distribution Center, the store promotes sustainability by reducing landfill waste and returning revenue to the university through the sale, recycling, and redistribution of assets from the West Lafayette and regional campuses.
