Habitat ReStore

Habitat ReStore, operated by Habitat for Humanity of Central Iowa, is a nonprofit home improvement store and donation center located at 3504 Grand Avenue in Ames, Iowa. The store sells new and gently used furniture, appliances, building materials, and home accessories to the public at reduced prices, with all proceeds supporting Habitat’s mission of building affordable housing for families in Hamilton, Hardin, and Story counties. The ReStore accepts donations of reusable building materials and household items, providing an environmentally conscious alternative to retail while funding community development and home construction initiatives.
