Stuff Etc is a consignment retail operation founded in 1985 by Mary Sundblad in Iowa City, beginning as a mix of consignment and country-themed home décor in a 750 square-foot building before transitioning to a consignment-only model in the mid-1990s. The Iowa City location, situated at 851 Highway 6 East, Suite 103 on the southeast side of the city, specializes in offering customers quality merchandise at low prices while providing consignors with strong returns on their items. The business has expanded significantly since its inception, now operating multiple locations across Iowa including stores in Coralville, Cedar Rapids, Dubuque, and franchises in Waterloo, Davenport, Ankeny, and Clive. Stuff Etc sells a variety of merchandise including apparel for women, men, teens, and children, housewares, and furniture, with items that have been in the store for 60 days or more receiving substantial discounts and special pricing for military members, teachers, and seniors.
