The Shop Iowa City

The Shop Iowa City is a women-owned business located at 4 South Dubuque Street in downtown Iowa City that specializes in thoughtfully curated vintage clothing, accessories, furniture, and home décor. Founded by three women—Kate Dreyer, Kay Boyer, and Jessica Meyer—the shop began in Kalona, Iowa, before expanding to Iowa City in 2018. The business features a bohemian chic aesthetic and reflects the diverse styles and creative passions of its owners, who personally source items from auctions and estate sales, often upcycling and repurposing pieces into new creations.
