St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Store

The Society of St. Vincent de Paul’s Windsor Heights thrift store, located at 801 73rd Street, is one of four locations operated by the Des Moines Council to support their mission of assisting those living in poverty toward self-sufficiency. The nonprofit store offers gently used clothing, furniture, and household goods while funding community programs, including services to help individuals re-enter society and the workforce after incarceration. Open Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m., the store welcomes donations and shoppers from the community.
