Adelante Thrift is an affordable thrift store located at 3720 State Avenue in Kansas City, Kansas, established in 2015 as part of Mission Adelante, a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving and empowering immigrants and refugees. The store offers affordable furniture, clothing, shoes, and accessories while promoting job creation and community transformation in the Wyandotte County area. Operating Monday through Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Adelante Thrift accepts donations of gently used items and welcomes volunteers. All profits generated by the store are reinvested back into Mission Adelante’s efforts to support immigrant and refugee communities through practical assistance, economic self-sufficiency programs, and a Spanish-speaking church community.
