The Society of St. Vincent de Paul – Northern Kentucky is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit charitable organization headquartered in Covington, Kentucky, dedicated to serving the less fortunate in Northern Kentucky with basic necessities regardless of religious affiliation. With roots tracing back to 1911, the organization was officially aggregated in 1923 and operates as a Catholic lay organization affiliated with the international St. Vincent de Paul network. Operating across six counties—Kenton, Boone, Campbell, Carroll, Grant, and Pendleton—the organization provides emergency financial assistance, in-home visits by trained Vincentian volunteers, and operates four thrift stores, three centrally-run food pantries, and numerous parish pantries throughout the region. The organization’s programs include Sweet Dreams Bed Program, Summer Breeze Program, coat donation drives, and Feed A Family meal assistance, with notable community impact including distributing winter coats to over 1,800 neighbors in 2023 and maintaining multiple service centers throughout Northern Kentucky.
