Gonzo Vintage

Gonzo Vintage is a vintage furniture and home decor shop located at 132 W. Third Street in Lexington, Kentucky, near the campus of Transylvania University. Founded by owner Matt Smith, the business began as a vendor at local and regional vintage markets in 2020 before opening its own independent storefront in recent years. The shop specializes in mid-century modern furniture, art, collectibles, and home decor items, with particular attention to case goods and chairs. Smith carefully restores all pieces to their original factory finish before displaying them. With over 2,000 square feet of retail space, Gonzo Vintage has gained recognition in the local community and owner Matt Smith has been featured in university design events and exhibitions. The shop operates on weekends by appointment.
