Center of Hope Resale Shop

Center of Hope Resale Shop is a faith-based nonprofit thrift store located at 1111 West Morris Avenue in Hammond, Louisiana, dedicated to serving the local community by connecting those in need to available resources. The shop offers gently used clothing, household goods, furniture, and décor at deeply discounted prices—children’s items at $3.50 and adult items at $4.50—to support individuals who are employed but asset-limited or income-restrained. Founded by organizer Elizabeth Lafargue and run by United Methodist ministry, the store opened in 2020 and operates Wednesday through Saturday, with all proceeds funding Center of Hope’s broader mission to rebuild lives and strengthen families in Tangipahoa Parish.
