Mothertree

Mothertree is a woman-owned vintage and contemporary resale collective located at 16 Middle Street in downtown Freeport, Maine. The 2,200 square-foot shop, which opened in March 2025, features curated items from over 10 vendors and emphasizes sustainable fashion as an alternative to fast fashion. Owner Greta Scheibel established Mothertree following a successful pop-up tent outside Starbucks on Main Street, eventually opening the brick-and-mortar location after encouragement from the Freeport Chamber of Commerce.
