Kensington Antique Row is the DC metropolitan area’s largest and oldest antiquing district, located on Howard Avenue in historic Kensington, Maryland, just outside Washington, DC. The destination features dozens of owner-operated antique and specialty shops, a multi-dealer antiques market, a design center, art gallery, and several cafes and restaurants, all housed on Howard, Armory Avenue, and Fawcett Street. Centered east of Connecticut Avenue, Kensington Antique Row offers customers an eclectic array of merchandise including vintage furniture, rare collectibles, local art, formal and country furniture, linens, jewelry, vintage apparel, silver, china, books, and collectibles. The community provides free onsite parking and hosts Saturday farmers markets with live music, creating a pedestrian-friendly environment that celebrates small-town charm while maintaining a vibrant commercial hub serving the greater Washington metropolitan area.
