Andover Thrift Shop

The Andover Thrift Shop is a ministry of Christ Church in Andover, Massachusetts, founded in February 1941 by a small group of parish women to raise funds for the church and benefit the local community. Located at 10 Park Street since 1964, the shop sells gently used men’s, women’s, and children’s clothing, accessories, household goods, jewelry, and furniture at reduced prices. The shop operates with approximately 100 volunteers working in shifts throughout the week and welcomes donations of gently used items during the last two weeks of each month. Proceeds benefit Christ Church’s program budget and parish building maintenance, while unsold items are donated to shelters and senior centers in the Greater Lawrence area, fulfilling the shop’s mission of providing community service and promoting environmental conservation through recycling.
