Local Vyntage is a lifestyle apparel brand founded in 2016 that celebrates local nostalgia through vintage-inspired designs showcasing icons and memories from cities across the United States, including Boston and other New England communities. The company operates a flagship retail store located at 386 Centre Street in Jamaica Plain, Boston, Massachusetts, which opened in October 2021 after five years of online-only sales. All of Local Vyntage’s apparel is made, labeled, and screen printed in the United States, and their catalog features over 200 designs representing cities across more than a dozen states. Since its founding, the company has integrated charitable giving into its business model, launching a philanthropic initiative in 2020 focused on Alzheimer’s disease research and support, with a portion of proceeds from specific product lines donated to this cause.
