Founded in 1921, Trefler’s is the largest continually operating full-service restoration company in the country and is family-owned and operated. Located at 29 Tower Road in Newton, Massachusetts, Trefler’s specializes in restoring and repairing treasured possessions including furniture, porcelain, ceramics, glass, paintings, books, and decorative arts, combining centuries-old techniques with contemporary restoration technology. The company also operates an on-site custom framing studio and provides art handling and installation services.
