Waltham Clothing Exchange

The Waltham Clothing Exchange is a volunteer-run consignment and thrift shop operated by First Parish in Waltham, a Unitarian Universalist congregation, since the 1950s. Located at 50 Church Street in Waltham, Massachusetts, the business offers affordable clothing for all ages alongside housewares, books, toys, jewelry, artwork, and other secondhand items across four rooms with over 20 racks of merchandise. The shop operates seasonally with two selling seasons per year—fall and spring—opening Tuesdays from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with select Saturday openings. As a community-focused nonprofit initiative, the Waltham Clothing Exchange provides low-cost access to quality goods while supporting environmental sustainability by diverting items from landfills and donating unsold inventory to organizations including Welcome Home, Goodwill, and the Epilepsy Foundation New England, while also providing winter gear to local organizations.
